It is with great pleasure that the Centre announces the attendance of Shaykh Yusuf Estes (USA) at the West London Islamic Centre & Jamia Masjid on Friday 31st October, when he will be delivering the Jummah Khutba Insha’Allah.

Loved by young Muslims and the young-at-heart brothers and sisters, who call him the “Funny Shaykh”, children and adults all delight to hear Yusuf Estes talk about coming to Islam while trying to revert a dear friend and Muslim from Egypt to be a Christian. An amazing story, it can make you laugh and cry at the same time.

Raised a strong Christian and educated in Texas, he became very successful in the music industry and was a music minister and preacher of the Holy Bible. A U.S. federal chaplain and delegate to the United Nations Peace Summit for Religious Leaders, he now runs many websites dedicated to correct presentation of Islam.

His lectures in universities are for all faiths and even honourable rabbis, ministers, preachers and priests compliment his way of presenting a fresh and enlightening picture of Islam.

He works to share the peaceful and principled message of Islam to Muslim youth, new Muslims and non-Muslims in simple English terms, making it enjoyable and even humorous at times while referring to the Qur’an and authentic, Prophetic teachings and narrations.

Shaykh Yusuf will Insha’Allah be visiting the Masjid again in the near future, he will will also be delivering a 2 day Dawah Training seminar at Al-Muntada Islami in Parsons Green on the 1st and 2nd of November. Please visit www.discoverislam.co.uk for further details.
