£475K Required to Complete WLIC Masjid’s 2 Upper Floors

The Masajid of Allah (swt) shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last Day, who establish regular prayer, practice regular charity, and fear none except Allah. It is they who are expected to follow true guidance.

Having raised £8.25 million our landmark, facility rich, activity led and exceptionally beautiful Masjid is edging towards completion. Despite the economic challenges and appreciation in costs, construction restarted in June 2024, to keep the schedule of works on track, as of January 2025 we now urgently need £475K to finish the 2 upper banquetting (2nd) and education (3rd) floors. These will include the new library, the education faculty, welfare clinic, media suite, and banqueting hall. See below for pics on progress. This will then leave just the 4th floor health facility and ground floor bookshop/cafe outstanding.

In the new year 2025, parts of the building will need to be closed for public safety, to minimize risk and allow full weekly access to the construction teams so they can meet project deadlines. This will affect our activities and services for a duration in the early part of the year. Our school will be closed between January 1st-5th April 2025.
