The Muslim Council of Britain is a representative Muslim umbrella body with over 500 affiliated national, regional and local organisations, mosques, charities and schools. Since 1997 the MCB has pledged to work for the common good of society as a whole. It is an independent body that conducts its affairs with openness and transparency and in accordance with a constitution, without fear or favour.

Established in 2003 HMC is a non-profit making organisation set up to monitor, inspect and certify Halal products, in particular the Halal meat and poultry sector.
The City Circle
Promotes the development of a distinct British Muslim identity. It seeks to assist the process of community cohesion and integration by building bilateral strategic alliances between Muslim and non-Muslim communities.
