Early summer 2017 was a tragic and testing time for London’s communities, but we showed resilience, unity and compassion for one another. WLIC believes every opportunity to heal and share should be embraced, so we invited our neighbours, friends, faith and civic leaders to the annual WLIC Iftar fast opening on Thursday 22nd June.

We had a fantastic response and attendance from the local community, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who came and made it such a memorable occasion. In particular our thanks to the London Fire Brigade Redwatch Ealing crew, Chief Inspector Ricky Khandola, Sgt Naeem Fazal from Ealing Police, London Assembly member for Labour Dr Onkar Sahota and Cllr David Millican leader of Ealing Conservatives.
