Healthwise is new initiative initiated by a group of enthusiastic medical professionals, with the aim of providing first aid workshops and health education courses to local communities, from within places of worship, schools and community centres.

Open to the wider community, the course will be held at WLIC on Saturday 31st October from 10am-1pm, it will cover a range of essential emergency skills and certificates of attendance will be provided.

The course covers:
-Principles of general first aid
-Dealing with a non breathing unconscious casualty
-Dealing with a breathing unconscious casualty
-Major Bleeding
-Choking
-Heart Attack
-Asthma attack
