The Centre was a pioneer in the concept of local community Visit my Mosque open days, holding its first such event in 2000. Our themed and inter-active open days have attracted hundreds of visitors and we continue to hold regular inter-faith engagement, school visit and collaborative programs, working with local charities and voluntary organisations such as Acton Homeless Concern and Ealing Hospital.
Our outreach volunteers team has delivered numerous campaigns designed to build bridges with our neighbours, including the free Mosque ice-cream van, Ramadan Community Iftars, litter picks, careers fairs, free exam tuition and Sharing the Eid Feeling with Ealing, where hundreds of chocolates and fruit baskets are distributed to neighbours and essential public service providers such as health, fire, police, library, local authority and victim support services.
