Visits & Tours

We host many guests and visitors throughout the year including from schools, universities, community organisations, NHS workers, the police and tourists. The topic and duration of the visit can be tailored to the needs of visiting groups.

Group, school and college tours of 30-60 people are normally hosted from Tuesday-Thursday mornings between 10am-12pm and last on average one hour.

Individuals who visit without pre-booking are requested to visit the centre office on arrival about the possibility of a guided tour dependent upon staff availability.

Guidelines for all visitors:

  • Footwear needs to be removed before entering prayer halls; there are shoe racks outside the prayer hall.
  • Avoid see-through/opaque and low-cut clothing.
  • Sleeves should reach below the elbows.
  • Skirts, dresses and shorts should reach below the knee.
  • For women, a scarf should cover the head and chest; the Mosque can provide headscarves if needed.
  • Food and drink are not allowed in the prayer halls.
  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere in our premises or building.
  • Videos and photography for personal use may be taken but must avoid capturing worshippers or staff. For non-personal use, please seek permission by emailing [email protected]

Tours are free of charge, but donations are welcomed to help us improve the visitor experience. All parts of the tour are wheelchair accessible. No parking is available at the Centre. There is very limited on-street parking nearby; visitors are strongly encouraged to use public transport.

We look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy your visit.
